The OROS-4PK 10 in. pre-filter set with post-carbon filter (stages 1-3 and 5) for reverse osmosis systems includes (1) 5 micron polypropylene sediment filter for stage 1 and (2) 5 micron coconut shell carbon block filters for stages 2 and 3 and (1) inline coconut shell post-carbon filter for stage 5. The sediment filter (stage 1) removes sand, silt, dirt and rust particles. The carbon block filters (stages 2 and 3) reduce chlorine, taste and odor. The inline coconut shell post carbon filter for reduction of chlorine, taste and odor. Compatible with OROS-50, OROS-80 and OROS-80-ALk systems and most under-sink reverse osmosis systems with standard 10 in. filter housings. Depending on usage and feed water quality, the pre-filters (stages 1-3) are typically replaced every 6-12 months and the post-carbon filter (stage 5) is replaced every 12-24 months.
