The Kidde i12060 is an AC-powered, ionization smoke alarm that operates on a 120-volt power source with a nine-volt battery backup. This alarm uses ionization sensing technology, and features a spring-loaded front battery door to allow for easy battery change. The front-loading battery door allows the user to change the battery without removing the alarm from the mounting bracket, making battery replacement easy and convenient. This unit is a UL Listed product with a 10-year limited warranty.
