How to Use the bee keeping smoker

1. Light a medium-size piece of newspaper with a match or lighter.
2. Push it into the smoker using your hive tool,and then add a little fuel.
3. Pumping the bellows vigorously until the fire is bright.
4. Add a little more fuel and pump until it is burning well.
5. Fill the smoker with more fuel (pine needles, wood chips or scraps, sawdust, etc.) .
6. Pump the bellows until you get plenty of thick, white smoke, then stop.
7. Wait a couple minutes after smoking a hive before opening it.
